About Riccardo Bevilacqua:
Riccardo Bevilacqua was born in Naples and was fascinated by art from an early age. He later attended the State Institute of Art in Naples, specializing in graphics and photography. After completing his studies, after a period of apprenticeship, he becomes an integral part of the Lito Cinquegrana group as an advertising graphic designer, where he will work for 3 years perfecting his training as a graphic designer and typographer. Over the years, however, he never gave up drawing and began to have a passion for comics. In 2007 he moved to the Marche region, where he still continues to work as an advertising graphic designer.
From here he began his first self-taught comic studies which led him in 2014 to attend the Adriatic comic school. In 2015, collaborating with two other enthusiasts, who share his same desire to tell stories through sequential art, he founded the collective IFA (Industria Fumettisti Anonimi). This collaboration will lead to the birth of the first self-produced comics and to the participation from 2015 to 2019 in sector fairs such as the Borda Fest, an event part of the Lucca comics and games national fair.
In 2020 he signed his first professional contract with Penguin Random House, for the American market, since January 2022 he has been working on a comic for Markosia Enterprises
