Legacy Comix is all about promoting our creators, so from time to time, we’ll take them away from work to answer some questions so you can connect with them a little more.
Next up, KROOM inker and colorer, Chris McAuley!
Legacy Comix: What was the first comic you remember reading?
Dr. Chris McAuley: Probably a Marvel UK print of The Real Ghostbusters or Thundercats.
Legacy Comix: Who is your guilty pleasure super hero? A character you love that people might not expect?
McAuley: Ms. Marvel, interesting to view society through the eyes of a teenage girl who struggles with culture clash and getting her homework done while saving the world.
Legacy Comix: Why are comics special to you?
McAuley: A unique synthesis between word and illustration. They can portray anything you can imagine.
Legacy Comix: If you could collaborate with any creator, who would it be? Why?
McAuley: My mentor Pat Mills (Creator of 2000AD) – I did collaborate with him a few years ago, but I would like to do it again.
Legacy Comix: What are your goals for 2022 with Legacy?
McAuley: To become a better inker and colorist, to do justice to the visions of the writing team.
