Comic chronicles the rise and cultural takeover of wild turkeys over New York’s most suburban borough.
Legacy Comix is proud to announce their newest comic, Midland Beach Turkey Ninjas, is set for a late-Spring release from the imprint and will feature a physical and digital variant cover.
Written by Condrey and The Job creator Patrick Hickey Jr. and illustrated by Joshua Adams, the book depicts the war between Staten Island residents and the infamous wild turkeys from the point of view of the fowl themselves.

“When I moved here in July, I couldn’t believe these turkeys actually lived here, but now I see them as so much more. Simply put, they’re a clan or organization set out to dominate and take over the land,” Legacy Comix owner Patrick Hickey Jr. and Staten Island resident said. “If you’ve ever seen one of the larger Turkey jump up and fly on top of power lines, or between homes, you know they aren’t just cute birds. Spending so much time watching them, I knew I had to write a story showing how much they impact the area..”
Fresh off his success with GODFOE: Apollyon 20XX and My Brother and the Ladybug, Joshua Adams adds a Sin City meets Stan Sakai sensibility to the noir tale.
“I’ve drawn a lot of comic pages, but this is the wildest thing I have drawn,” Adams said. “It’s fun, crazy and unhinged.”
