Dan Dero doesn’t want to rob banks with his wife to pay for his pro wrestling addiction, but he’s so goddamn good at it.
Garnering a cult following after the Legacy Comix Kickstarter, The Job is primed for its first full issue, with Renfield: Visions of Madness Steve Cange replacing issue zero artist Kieran Quinn, in a non-stop slugfest that never lets up. Written by Condrey creator Patrick Hickey Jr, The Job is a tribute to classic films the likes of Heat and Dog Day Afternoon, with an injection of 90s pro wrestling.
“The issue zero of The Job was great, but with Steve Cange on art and more room to tell story, this issue is completely badass,” Legacy Comix Owner Patrick Hickey Jr. said. “The standard on this one is impressive and I’m excited for people to see how well the story and art work together.”
The Job #1 is scheduled for a Fall Physical and Digital Release. Stay tuned for pre-order info in the coming days.
